View >
Horizontal View
- In turn,
the View menu allows you to display a text in vertical
view or horizontal view (with the corresponding item checked),
at step 1 as well as at step 2. However, in order for these
commands to be accessible, a Zigzag project must be open.
- To change
the view, you can do one of the following:
- Click
on the
button on the toolbar to access the vertical view (or
on the
button to return to horizontal view).
- Select
the View > Vertical View
menu or the View > Horizontal View menu, depending
whatever the case be.
Note
1.
When
a text is displayed in horizontal view it looks like it
would in the Integrated Test module.
There is an important difference, however. When a text is
displayed in horizontal view, you must use the horizontal
scroll bar at the bottom of the screen to make it go forward.
However, when the same text is displayed in the Integrated
Test module, the scroll bar is absent, and you must
use the mouse or keyboard to go forward.
Note
2.
In
vertical view, the text is displayed such that it is not
possible to see specific images or distractors.
In horizontal view, you can see specific images and distractors.
However, the visible part of the text is more restricted
and the distractors can complicate such actions as assigning
images and assigning certain codes to segments.
