View > Vertical View

• In turn, the View menu allows you to display a text in vertical view or horizontal view (with the corresponding item checked), at step 1 as well as at step 2. However, in order for these commands to be accessible, a Zigzag project must be open.

• To change the view, you can do one of the following:
  • Click on the button on the toolbar to access the horizontal view (or on the button to return to vertical view).
    
    
  • Select the View > Horizontal View menu or the View > Vertical View menu, depending on the case.
    
    

  
  
  
  
  Note. In vertical view, the text is displayed such that it is not possible to see specific images or distractors.
  
  
  
  In horizontal view, you can see specific images and distractors. However, the visible part of the text is more restricted and the distractors can complicate such actions as assigning images and assigning certain codes to segments.
