A window
called Open will appear. Select the text to be imported
(txt format) as you normally would. Then, click on Open.
Note
1. When imported into version 2, the settings of the
texts to be read are the following: font: Arial 14,
alignment: Left, context: All segments visible,
correct answer obligatory: yes (i.e. box is checked),
start instructions centered: "Click here to
start the test."
Note
2. The font (i.e. Arial 14) is part of the
parameters that are only partially modifiable (unless you
choose to return to step 1 of text generation, which would
automatically entail the deletion of all the parameters defined
at step 2). The window that appears following the command
Tools > Font allows you to minimize the font size,
but not to increase it:

Though
it is technically possible, it is strongly recommended that
you do not open the *.zzm file with the intention of
modifying the font or another critical parameter during the
process of importing a file. Under certain circumstances,
this action can make your file no longer usable. For example,
by replacing Arial 14 by Arial 22 (or the matrix
format 2 columns by 3 columns, etc.), the necessary
space for displaying the segments on the screen may no longer
be sufficient and lead to an error message.
Note
3. The import command refers
to a Zigzag file (and not to a Zigzag project). The reason
for this is that the concept of a Zigzag project - a series
of resource files inside a directory - only came into existence
with the second version of Zigzag Reader. In the first
version, a reading text could be displayed in only one font
and one size, without the option for adding images, questionnaires
or instructions.
