File > Create New Zigzag Project

• Select this command to create a new Zigzag project. A window called New Project will appear. In the field Project Name, write a title and then click on OK.
  
  
  
  
• If the project name already exists, an Error message will appear.
  
  
  
  
• Click on OK and save the project under another name. The integrated editor of Zigzag Generator will appear, with the default text displayed being <Insert text here.>.
  
  
  

• Select the default text and delete it. Then, write your own text in the integrated editor of Zigzag Generator. You can also copy any text (doc or rtf formats, for example) and paste it into the editor. However, the integrated editor of Zigzag Generator is in txt format and thus some characteristics of other formats will be lost in the copy-paste action.

  Note. The commands File > Open Text File ... and File > Create New Zigzag Project both allow you to create a new Zigzag project. By using the command File > Open Text File ..., you can import a whole file in txt format into the editor of the Zigzag Generator application. The command File > Create New Zigzag Project is useful when you wish to import a text from a file in another format (doc or rtf, for example).
  
  
  
  In the latter case, a message error may be triggered if there are characters that are not compatible with the txt format. If this problem arises, it is recommended that the selected doc or rtf file be saved as a txt file and that is be imported using the File > Open Text File … command.
