Open Zigzag Project ...

- You can
always open an existing Zigzag project with the intention of
modifying it or simply examining its characteristics. Instead
of using the menu File > Open Zigzag Project ...,
you can also select the
button on the toolbar.
- If there
is another project open at the moment of opening a second Zigzag
project, and the former project's modifications have not been
saved, a warning message will appear. Click on Yes or
No, as appropriate in the context.

- A window
called Open Project will appear:

- Select
the icon in question and click on OK (or simply double-click
on the icon). The Zigzag project in question will appear in
the integrated editor of the Zigzag Generator application.
Note.
Technically speaking, a Zigzag project is a directory that
minimally contains a file called seg.zzm. This file
contains information about the reading text and its various
parameters (ex.: font, format, matrix). A Zigzag project can
also contain image files, those images accompanying the text
or list of words. The images, in bmp, gif or
jpg format, can be found in a sub-directory of the
Zigzag project called img. A Zigzag project can also
contain a file called qus.zzm. This file has the questions
linked to the text (i.e. multiple choice, true or false).

Once generated, a Zigzag project acts as a reading test used
through the Zigzag Test application. The results gathered
from the readers from the Zigzag Test application are
also part of the Zigzag project; they can be found in a sub-directory
of the Zigzag project called tests.
