File
> Export

- For this
command to be available, a Zigzag project must already have
been opened using the command File >
Open.
- To export
data from a Zigzag project in order to do statistical analyses
(for example in SPSS), select the menu File > Export.
The window Save As
will appear. Give the file
to be exported a name and confirm your choice by clicking on
Save.
The file type of an exported file will be *.cvs.
- You can
open this file with an application called Excel. Once
opened, you can reorganize the data in preparation for more
advanced statistical analysis, for use in SPSS for example.
The file contains the raw data for all trials for a group of
readers, namely, the time (column E), the score (Success
or Failure; column F) as well as an identification
of coded segments (columns G, H, I: 1 = the segment is
attributed the code in question, 0 = the segment is not attributed
the code in question). However, the file does not contain the
distractors coupled with the target-segments in the test.
